Leakage caused by the sealing performance of precision stainless steel ferrules.

In hydraulic systems, both metal pipe fittings and hose fittings are prone to leakage. For precision stainless steel ferrules, leaks often occur when the pipeline is subjected to significant external forces or impacts, causing the ferrule to loosen or the pipe end face to deform. In such cases, it is necessary to inspect whether the ferrule has lost its roundness, whether the cutting edge is chipped, whether the pipe end is intact, and the degree of tightening of the ferrule nut; at the same time, any external forces acting on the pipeline must be eliminated. During pre‑assembly of ferrule fittings, utmost care should be taken to maintain coaxial alignment between the pipe and the fitting body. If the pipe is excessively misaligned, the seal will fail.
